The family of the late Barbara (MacLean) Mattia extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in the An Cala unit (Gaelic for The Harbour) at the C.B. Regional Hospital for Barbara’s wonderful care. Sincere thank you to Fr. Paul Murphy who together with the unbelievable voices of the Holy Redeemer Senior Choir and against the backdrop of Christmas wreaths and the Nativity Scene made our belated sister’s Mass so joyful. To Jamie MacIsaac, organist, we thank you. We are ever grateful to the altar servers, Eucharistic minister and the readers; and Rose Conohan who prepared the lunch for the reception. To all who travelled from near and far to be with us, despite the snowfall, thank you.
Special thank you to Bill Laurie and staff of Pier Community Funeral Home for your professional guidance, your kindness, and continuing support. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, flowers and donations; and to all who helped in any way, we are indeed grateful.
