MAZEROLLE, EMILIEN
1933 - 2016
Emilien Mazerolle, 82, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe and formerly of Bathurst, NB, passed away on Monday, January 18th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Bertrand, NB, he was the son of the late Eddy and the late Exelia (née: Cormier) Mazerolle.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Mazerolle was employed as a cook at the Bathurst Hospital for 25 years. He was a member of the Club d’Age d’Or de Dieppe and Sainte- Thérèse Parish.
He is survived by his wife, Berthilde (née: Cormier); one son, Yvon (Lynn) of Bathurst; three sisters: Argentine (late Emile) Couture of East Bathurst, Derilda (Alcide) Chiasson of Caraquet and Lydia (Camille) Doiron of Bathurst; two brothers: Elie (late Stella) and Omer (Sadie), both of Bathurst; two granddaughters: Mylène and Hélène, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm ONLY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Sainte-Thérèse Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, NB on Friday, January 22nd, 2016 at 11 am. Interment in the Chartersville Funeral Home Columbarium, Dieppe, NB.
