It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melba Tuff announce her passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 96 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Peggy Janes (Paul); son Bill Tuff (Hilda); special granddaughter Jessica Tuff, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William C. Tuff (January 2015); parents Arthur and Sarah Hutchings; sister Irene Hatcher (Theo); brothers: Hayward Hutchings (Sadie), Clarence Hutchings (Mary) and Chesley Hutchings. Friends and family may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday and Thursday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. from St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive officiated by Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands S.P.C.A. or St. Michael's Church Fund.
