LAWRENCE, JOAN ROXY
The passing of Joan Roxy Lawrence of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Burtts Corner, NB occurred on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born on December 5, 1931 in Zealand, NB, she was the daughter of Winslow and Ethel (Brewer) Lawrence.
Joan is survived by her sisters, Rae Brewer (Orlo) of Burtts Corner, NB and Maureen Hyland of Lower Sackville, NS; two nephews, Skip and Larry Brewer and several other nieces and nephews; special cousin, Ola Perkins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jaska Lawrence and Lila Brewer and her infant brother, Allen Lawrence; brothers in law, Donald Hyland and Hubert Brewer.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 1 to 2 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm with Pastor Stephen Matthews officiating. Interment will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Zealand, NB at a later date.
