Douglas Cameron
Douglas Maynard Cameron, 84, Green Street, New Glasgow, formerly of Salt Springs and Trenton passed away on Monday, January 18, 2016 at his home.
Born in Trenton on March 17, 1931, he was a son of the late Edward and Edith (Jackson) Cameron.
Doug worked at Hawker Siddeley and Trenton Works until retirement.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews; stepdaughters and stepsons, Thelma Dunlap, Herman Dunlap (Rene), Bernie Dunlap (Susan), Donna Gillis (Charles), Juanita Albert (Mario), Kathy Dunlap, Freeman Dunlap (Denise), Eunice Dunlap (Tony), and Larry Dunlap; 41 step-grandchildren, special friend, Eleanor MacPherson.
Doug was predeceased by his wife Ethel Mae Dunlap; stepdaughters and stepsons, Ruby McCoul, Helen Horne, Roy and Ronald; step-grandsons Randy McCoul and Troy Dunlap; sisters, Ruby Gratto, Vivian Foote, Doris Marshall, Lillian Cameron, Margaret MacCann and brothers, Hughes, Burgess, Earl, Harris, Lawrence, and Aubrey Cameron and infant brother, Eddie.
Doug is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville, with visiting on Thursday from 6-8 pm.
His funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Friday at Eagles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ryan King officiating.
Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
