It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anthony (Tony) Gash on January 16, 2016 at the age of 70, in Ottawa, ON in the presence of his family and loved ones. Leaving to mourn in his absence are his wife Judith (O'Brien); his children Todd (Colette), Kelly (Matthew) and Michael (Kirsty); his grandchildren Nicholas, Allison and Kaitlyn; his siblings Teresa, Father Joe and Tim (twin brother) and sister-in-law Ann (James). Tony was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Annie Gash; and his siblings James, Augustine, Susan and Marie. An accountant by vocation, Tony's true passions in life were his family and friends through sailing, skiing and music. This continued in a retirement of entertaining as he cruised the Eastern seaboard from NL to the Bahamas and skied the mountains from Marble Mountain to Whistler, BC, all while making amazing friends who became extended family. Tony was loved and respected by all who came in touch with him and will be forever in our hearts. A cremation has already taken place, with a memorial service and celebration of his life to follow in Corner Brook at a date to be determined in summer 2016.
