Young, Irene
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Irene Fay Young, age 69, which occurred on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born 1946 in Cape St. George, NF, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Josephine (March) Renouf. She is survived by her daughter Dianne Nickerson, son-in-law Kevin Nickerson; two grandsons John and Zachary Nickerson; brothers Wallace and Albert Renouf; sisters Mary Cormier, Dulcie Young and Alavine Layes; a large extended family and many friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sons Junior and Gary Young as well as her brothers Limbert Renouf, Jerome Renouf and Leonard Renouf.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday January 25, 2016 at 6 p.m. The family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Bobby’s Hospice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com
