Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family and special friends on Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, Yvonne Hoddinott in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Hoddinott in 2008. Leaving to mourn her precious daughter Susan Cherry (Brett); two beautiful grandchildren Taylor and Liam Cherry, of Mississauga; half-brothers Keith Fry (Karen), of St. John's and Darroch Fry (Betty) of Texas; half-sister Cheryl Fry, of Toronto; sister-in-law Catherine Spurrell (Harry) of St. John's and aunt Myrtle Courtney. A special thank you to friends Dr. Chuck Hobeika, Ada, Phyllis and Christine. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place in Barrett's Chapel on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
