The death occurred at the Whitehorse General Hospital, Whitehorse, YT, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, of Peter Stanger, of Whitehorse, YT, aged 74 years. Born in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late Edward and Anne (Petryna) Stanger. Survived by his children Shayne and Stephanie Stanger and their mother Louise Stanger; grandsons Jordan and Justin Thomas; his best friend and fishing buddy Tom Prichard; and by the Alyre-Calixte family. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
