Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 of Alma M. Birt (nee Craswell) of Stratford, age 77 years.
Loving mother of Richard (Joan) Birt and Ira (Elizabeth) Birt. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Richard Jr., Chas and Brodie Birt; great-grandchildren, Jack and Xavier Birt; brothers and sisters, Allie (Daphne) Craswell, Linda (Ben) Rodgers, Madeline (David) MacKay, David (Meang) Craswell and Brenda (George) Vickerson. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Frances (nee Clark) Craswell, and sisters, Shirley Dunning and Marion Craswell.
No visitation or funeral service by personal request. Interment later in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, South Rustico.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
