Peacefully, at the Garden Home, with family by his side, the death occurred of Luigi Gervasio, age 90, on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.
There is mourning of the terrible loss, but celebrating of the life of a kind, generous, loving and honourable husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle and faithful friend. Dearest father of Dolores Gaudin (Julien) and cherished grandfather (Nono in Italian) of André and Maria, who will forever feel the deep love he had for them. Special uncle to Angelo Gervasio (Krystyna) of Oakville, Ontario and many nieces and nephews in Italy.
Predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Maria (Della Maestra) Gervasio, Castions di Strada, P.Udine Italy; his infant son; his wife, Gina (Ellero); second son, Loris André; brothers, Angelo (Verdina) of Italy and Idaco (Maria) of Toronto.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. then to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Visitation Monday 5-7 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of PEI or the Children's Wish Foundation (PEI). Family flowers only.
