It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Anne White age 78 announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 with her family at her side, at the Dr. George L Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB.
Born in Amherst, NS, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Harriet (Chapman) Weeks.
In Dorothy’s earlier years she was a Registered Nurse who enjoyed gardening, showing dogs, shopping and spending time with her loved ones.
Dorothy will be missed by her daughter Janice (Robert) Sperry; Son Michael (Christine) White; grandchildren Sarah (Nick), Jessica, Jenny (Tyler), Nigel and Carver; great granddaughter Alexis and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband Joseph and grandson Ryan Sperry.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 from 7 – 9 p.m. with Funeral service being held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Nigel Weaver officiating, all taking place at Campbell’s Funeral Home, (98 Church St. Amherst, 902-667-9906).
Interment will take place in the spring at the Riverside Cemetery, Tidnish, NS.
