Passed away at the Health Sciences Center on Friday, February 5th, 2016, Anastasia (Bessie) Furey of Avondale in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Arthur, daughter Angela, infant children Mary and William, daughter-in-law Jenny, brother Dr. Harold, sisters: Edith and Marguerite. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Beth, Artie (Karen), Gerard (Pat), Harold (Agnes), Edith, Pad (Sharon), Nick (Bernadette), Mary (Brian), her 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends including her long term wonderful caregivers: Barbara, Mary and Lisa. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home Holyrood. Visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral will take place at 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016, from Assumption Church, Avondale.
