(Alex) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, March 30, 2008, age 72 years. Alex Hanlon, former employee of the Telephone Company for 36 years. Predeceased by his parents James and Alice. Left with fond and loving memories, his wife, partner and best friend of 48 years, Marjorie (Marge); sons: Gary (Rita), Ken (Carrie) and Rodney (Marlene); special nephew Walter Butt; six grandchildren: Samantha, Kenny, Daniel, Natasha, Nicole and Brianna; brothers: Jimmy (Shirley) and Frank; sisters: Joan (Frank), New Jersey, Gertrude, Helen (Ed); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and extended family Connie, Karen and Karen Hanlon. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
