Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness on February 13, 2016 at age 62, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Mercedes Putt, sisters Lenore and Patricia, brothers Joseph, John Jr., Edward and Douglas, father-in-law Llewellyn Osmond, brothers-in-law Earl and Kevin Osmond. Left with fond and cherished memories are wife Veronica, daughters Melissa and Emily, son Billy (Dianne), and the joy of his life, granddaughter Johanna, sisters Violet McNeil (Earl deceased), Margret Shortall (Leonard), Linda Williams (Fred), Judy Kennedy (Jackie), Jean Murphy (Brian), Glenda Kennedy (Shawn), brothers George (Carol), Chris, Don (Jackie), Ken (Grace), mother-in-law Florence McIsaac (Ron), grandmother-in-law Betty MacNeil, brothers-in-law Lew Osmond (Vonnie), Wade Osmond (Michelle), Adam Osmond (Claudia), sisters-in-law Theresa Butler (Bill), Jackie Davenport (Mitch), Ann Putt, Monica Putt, special nephew Phillip Putt (Carol). Also leaving to mourn many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Kevin was a dedicated family man, a long time member and hospitality minister for St. Peter's Parish, a former volunteer for St-Vincent-de-Paul, and a 3rd degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. Sincere thanks to the many nurses, doctors and staff of Eastern Health for their dedication to Kevin's well-being and care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave. on Sunday, February 14th and Monday, February 15th, 2016 between 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 at St. Peter's Parish, 110 Ashford Dr., Mt. Pearl at 10:30 am.
