We, the family of the late Captain Daniel Skinner would like to thank those who offered their sympathy at the loss of our husband, father, grandfather and brother. To those who visited Dan during his illness, your kind words and stories lightened his dark days. To those who gave gifts of donations, flowers, food and friendship, we thank you. To the staff at the Cancer Clinic at the CB Regional Hospital for your kindness especially Doctor Ritter and Cathy MacMillan, our sincere thanks. A special thank you, to Dr. Stephanie Langley, for her care and compassion. To those who travelled to offer their condolences to the family, we loved to hear the stories of how Dan touched your lives. To the nursing staff of Palliative Care and the VON, we are grateful for your kindness in service, it allowed Dan to remain at home where he wanted to be. Thank you to the staff of W.J. Dooley’s Funeral Home for the care shown to our family and Marjorie Serafinus for the most meaningful graveside service. We are sincerely thankful to those who helped us in anyway during this most difficult time.
