The death occurred at the Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday, February 20, 2016 of Joseph (Joe Paul) Gaudet of Tignish and formerly of St. Louis, aged 88 years. Husband of the late Mary (LeClair) Gaudet.
He was born in St. Louis on November 17, 1927, the son of the late Paul and Annie Gaudet. Dear father of Wayne (Mary-Jo), Coles Island, N.B.; Raymond (Beverly), Cornwall, PEI; Ronnie (Paulette), Nail Pond, PEI and Theresa (Stephen) Wood, Saint John, NB. Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Margurite (Earl) Grant and Doris Arsenault.
He was predeceased by parents Paul and Annie, daughter Barbara, brothers Raymond and Philip, sisters Doris and Ozelie.
Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road for visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 with funeral mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 2 p.m.
