(nee Rixon) 1925-2008 Passed peacefully away at Stella Burry Place, Agnes Pratt Home on Sunday, March 30, 2008, Florence Wheeler, aged 82 years. Predeceased by husband Ralph Wheeler (1996); parents Joseph and Louise Rixon; brothers: Charles, John and Art; sisters: Eve Fry and Nellie Sparkes. Leaving to celebrate Florence's life are her children: Roy (Ruby), David, Bertha Wells (Eric), Peter (Doloras), Marion Reynolds (Paul), Max (Jane) and Ann Hull (Ron); grandchildren: Jennifer DaSilva (Jorge), Chris Wells, Karen Wells, Glenn Wells (Christine), Dawn Marsh (Bruce), Stephen Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, Melissa Wheeler, Mark Reynolds (Clarie), Tina Otawa (Jon), Rebecca Wheeler, Marion Wheeler, Beth Wheeler, Laura Hull and Allison Hull; great-grandchildren: Anthony and Samantha DaSilva, Aidan and Nicholas Wells, Ethan Otawa and Andrew Marsh, as well as many other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday from 7-9 and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Stella Burry Place, Agnes Pratt Home for the loving care provided to Florence for many years.
