LANGTON, GRACIE
Mrs. Gracie Nora (Robinson) Langton, wife of the late Francis Langton of Main Street, Doaktown NB, passed away Monday February 29, 2016 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 83. Born in Doaktown NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Rhode (Beek) Robinson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the St Thomas United Church. She also was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by one daughter; Susan Stokell (David) of Bowmanville ON, one son; William (Sharon), of Doaktown NB, two sisters; Sadie Lyons of Fredericton NB, Elva Vickers of Gray Rapids NB, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by two brothers, Charlie and Raymond, two brothers-in-law, Henry and Bob and one sister-in-law, Betty.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St Thomas United Church, Doatown NB, with Rev. Patti Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in the United Church Cemetery later in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Gracie donations may be made to the NB Kidney foundation.
