NASON, MARION ISABEL
It is with sadness that the family of Marion Isabel Nason announces her passing on Saturday, March 5th, 2016, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Florence (Witham) Day and the wife of the late Robert Adelbert (Dell) Nason.
Marion is survived by her daughter Karen Boon of Fredericton, NB; son Peter Nason of Moncton, NB; grandsons Kiel O’Neal (Starla) and their children Luka and Kendrix, and Kristopher O’Neal (Casey) and their son Kaden; granddaughter Courtney Boon and her son Baine; brother Donald Day (Jan); sister Doreen Kerr and sister-in-law Audrey Day.
In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was predeceased by her brother Frank Day and brother-in-law Scott Kerr.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Alleira Living (formerly Terraces on Cliffe) and the doctors and nurses on 4NE of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital for the wonderful care they had given to Marion.
Visitation will take place on at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 8th, 2016, from 10 to 11 AM. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel with Pastors Allen Beck and Terry Messer officiating. Interment will take place in the Rockland Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in Marion’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
