Fredrick James William (Fred)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Fredrick James William Murphy (Fred) announce his passing at the Ottawa General Hospital on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the age of 69. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Mark Murphy and wife Karen of Las Vegas; daughter Danielle Terry and husband Dominic and children Noah, Abigail and Liam of Calgary; and son Jonathan Murphy of Richmond Hill. He is also survived by Esther Brake and his brothers Peter and Robert of Goulds, NL; and Garry and wife Betty of St. John's as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Fred was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Sheila Murphy. Fred was a computer and electronics enthusiast with a love for food and always enjoyed a good chat. A special thank you to the staff on the Cancer Assessment Ward for their loving care and support. There was a private service for family and close friends on Sunday, March 6, 2016.
