Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, March 11, 2016 of Elizabeth "Betty" Paquet-MacDonald of Charlottetown, age 73 years.
Born in Souris, she was daughter of the late James "Jim" and Annie (nee McCabe) Paquet.
Betty is survived by her son, Allan (Stacey) MacDonald; grandchildren, Bruce, Caitlin, Kristina and A.J. MacDonald; great-granddaughters, Kenzie, Khloe and Abigail; brother, Jim Paquet; sister, Mary Paquet; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allen Joseph MacDonald; son, David MacDonald; and brother, Paul Paquet.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Multiple Myeloma Research), Humane Society or a charity of choice.
