Passed away suddenly at his home in Wasaga Beach, Ont., on March 28, 2008. Walter was born in St. John's, N.L. on July 13, 1949. He was the son of the late Frank and Carrie Collins. Left with fond and loving memories his wife May; daughters: Jennifer Lee Bray (Chuck), Paula Ann Collins; grandchildren: Joshua Walter and Jeremy William Bray and Kendra Ann Louise Collins; sisters: Frances Hallingham (Bob), Eileen (Burnell) (Fred), Bernice Crotty; brothers: Gerry Collins (Anne), Guy Collins (Gail); also six nieces, four nephews, three great-nieces and three great-nephews. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in both Newfoundland and Ontario. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service in Topsail United Church, Topsail on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
