Norma "Gale" Gallant
1945 - 2016
Moncton, NB – Norma "Gale" Gallant, 70, passed away at The Moncton Hospital, Moncton on Thursday, March 17, 2016.
Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Éloi and the late Yvonne Gallant (nee Richard).
Norma travelled the world and affected the lives of many people. She was inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame and performed at the Grand Ole Opry. She loved her projects and she loved travelling. But most of all she loved her family dearly.
Norma will be sadly missed by her son, Marc Gallant (Rebecca) of Lower Coverdale, NB; by her three sisters, Joan Léger (Len) of Cocagne, NB, Linda Léger of Moncton, NB and Lori-Anne Conrod of Kitchener, ON; by her brother, Ronald Gallant of Dieppe, NB; by her two grandchildren, Isaac and Abigail; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel, 625 Mountain Road (corner West Lane), Moncton, NB on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held from Passage Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at 11:00am.
