Trenton – Roberta MacNeil.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Roberta (MacKenzie) MacNeil, in the Glen Haven Manor, on Thursday, March 17, 2016.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjory (Kearley) MacKenzie, of New Glasgow. Formerly of Trenton, she was the wife of the late Art MacNeil. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Harold MacKenzie; six children: Gloria, Diane, Robert, Linda, Barbara and infant daughter, Rose Marie; as well as three grandchildren: Paula, Lisa Dawn and Victoria.
She is survived by daughters: Sandra (John) Dwyer; Cathy Ellsworth; Mickey (Paul) Bethune-Lowe; Tracey Keating; sons: Jim (Suzanne) MacNeil; Scott (Carol) MacNeil; son-in-law, Wayne Cormier. She will also be greatly missed by her 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton, with Mr. Fergie MacKay officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
