Mary M. Hamill (O’Connor) of Middleton, at age 90, died peacefully at the Prince County Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009. Born in Clinton, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ella (Malone) O’Connor and wife of the late Bert Hamill. Lovingly remembered by daughter, Ella (Blair) MacDonald, and their children, Michelle, and her son, Christopher, Greg (Marietta) and their daughter, Danielle, Pat (Holly) and their children, Candice, Jessie and Ben. Daughters, Audrey Hamill, Mary Lou Hamill, Barb (John) Rogers and their children Justin (Laura) and Maribeth, Louis (Dianne) Hamill and their children Ryan, Steven and Thomas, Cathy (James) Reeves and their children, Nicole (Christopher and great-grandson Dylan) and Marilynn, and son, Richard Hamill. Sister of Sr. Joan O’Connor, CND., James O’Connor and Noreen Gibson. Predeceased by grandson, Dennis MacDonald, brothers, Charles and Jack O’Connor, and sisters, Beth Steele, Kathleen Merrick, and Virginia O’Connor. Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. Visiting hours Sunday, Feb. 8, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass to be held Monday, Feb. 9, in St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, with Mass at 10:30 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Community Connections or Prince County Hospital. Interment to take place later in the parish cemetery. CWL will say prayers at the Funeral Home on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 pm.
