Davidson, Ruth Constance, 72, Truro, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the Mira Long Term Care Facility, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Violet (Maynard) Moore. Ruth cooked in various restaurants over the years.
She is survived by a son Richard Lloyd Kaulback of Alberta; daughter Marilyn Zwanepol (Herman) of Ontario; grandchildren Tara, Cory, Erin; several great-grandchildren; brothers,
Sylvester Moore, Harmony; Clarence (Ellen) Moore, Truro; William “Bill” Moore (Nadine McKay), Harmony; Leon (Rose) Moore, Bible Hill; Gary (Jamie) Moore, Holtville, New Brunswick; Eric Moore, Greenfield; sisters, Shirley Sibley, Truro Heights; Diane (John) Sabourin, Harmony; Gloria (Harold) McNutt, Bible Hill; Lillian (Eric) MacKay, Truro; Shelley (Norman) McKeil, Miramichi, New Brunswick; Valerie Moore, Bible Hill; Wanda (Randy) McLean, Truro; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Wayne; Sister Florence.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Ruth’s family will receive friends from 1 pm prior to the funeral service at 2 pm, Sunday, April 3rd. Reverend George Luke will officiate with burial to follow in the Harmony Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to Salvation Army Corp, Truro.
