Timothy Joseph Conway, 76, of Liverpool, NS, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, NS. Born in Tignish, PEI, he was a son of the late Joseph Ignatius and Mary “Mae” Adeline (McPhee) Conway. Tim is survived by his wife of 54 years Pauline (Schrader); his son Everette (Susan) of Coldbrook, NS; his daughter Elsie (Duane) Olsen of Riverview, NB; grandchildren Tiffany (Derek) Lounder of Moncton, NB; Mitchell Olsen (Melanie Hache) of Miramachi, NB; Alyssia Olsen (Cameron Fisher) of Riverview, NB; Timmy Conway of Dartmouth, NS; Kristina Conway of Coldbrook, NS; great-granddaughter Summit Lounder. Siblings Teresa O’Rourke, Elsie (Frank) Murnaghan, Frances (Ivan) Chaisson, Helen Perry, Lucy (Wendell) Cahill, Sylvia (Tom) Sweet, Evelyn Malone, Phyllis Conway, Fr. Greg Conway, Chris (Emile) Gaudet; brothers-in-law Maynard Butler and Roger Connors and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his infant son John James; his infant brother Gerald, his infant sister Mary Gertrude and his sisters Adeline Butler, Gertrude Connors, Mary Rose Rochford and brothers-in-law Earl O’Rourke, Patrick Rochford and Nelson Perry. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, NS. Funeral service will be Friday, April 1, at 2 p.m. in St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, Liverpool, NS. Father Keith Billard officiating. Burial will be in St. Gregory’s Catholic Cemetery, College Street, Liverpool, NS.
