It is with great sadness that the family of the late Phyllis June Linfield (Nee Hudson) announces her passing on March 18th, 2016, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL., at the age of 76 years. Phyllis is predeceased by her parents Hubert and Lillian (Loveys) Hudson, sister Peggy, sister-in-law Marguerite Parsons, and brother-in-law Frank Young. She is survived by her husband John, son Dana (Veronica), grandsons Victor, Drake, and Ryker, son John (Karen), sister Robin (Winston) Rideout, brothers Guy (Joan), and Wilson (Edna), sisters-in-law Jeannie Young, and June (Bill) Wrixon, and brothers-in-law Howard (Ruth) Linfield, Derek (Helen) Linfield, and Stan Parsons. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. The family did receive family and friends at Barrett's Funeral Home on Hamilton Avenue, St. John's, NL., on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016, form the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where also the Funeral service did take place from on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016, at 9:30 am. The burial followed at the United Church Cemetery, on Bauline Line, in Portugal Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA or The Canadian Red Cross Society in Phyllis memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
