It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our precious mom, age 90 years at the Pleasant View Towers Long Term Care Home in St. John's on April 6, 2016. Predeceased by her loving husband George and parents Edward and Virtue Roberts. She leaves with cherished and loving memories, her sons Noel (Deneal), Paul (Jean) and daughter Valerie (Albert) whom she dearly loved; six precious grandchildren whom she adored: Owen (Samantha), Lynn (Jody), Jeremy (Heidi), Taneille, Adam (Gloria) and Brittany (Jeff); six beloved great-grandchildren Mitchell, Jayden, Marcus, Tiffany, Jacob and Harlan. She also leaves with many fond memories special friends Pat Reid and special niece Barbara Butler, as well as nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to her extended family, the staff of 3 Southeast for their exceptional care, and kindness during mom's stay. Mom will be resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews with visitation on Thursday, 7-9 pm, Friday, 10-12 noon, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, 10-12 noon. Funeral service to take place at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Upper Gullies on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Peter's Anglican Church, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
