MAILLET, DOROTHY ELLEN LOUISE
1950 – 2016
Dorothy Maillet of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday April 17, 2016. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Myrna (Jamieson) Magee.
Dorothy cherished time spent with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. She was happily married to Alfred for 45 loving years. She also held a special place in her heart for dogs (Sully) and took great pride in her quilting works.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Alfred, daughters; Tracey Maillet (Kyle Holston), Kathryn Maillet (Luke Cross) of Moncton, Tammy Vandenberg (Marc) of Fredericton, son, Chrys Maillet of Ottawa, grandchildren; Anna, Alex, Ben and Isaac.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center: 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, with a service celebrating Dorothy’s life to take place at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11 AM with Pastor Paul Steeves officiating. The interment will take place in Alderwood Cemetery.
Donations to The Moncton SPCA or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
