It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pauline Mary Billard, age 64, announces her peaceful passing on Friday, April 15, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She was at her residence in Port au Choix with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her daughter Elizabeth MacMullin (Adam) and precious granddaughter Arianna MacMullin; sisters and brothers Marina Ploughman, Shirley (Bill) Spence, Evelyn (Len) Chaisson, Eileen McGrath, Leon (Linda) Billard, Gordon Billard, Myra McKay, Judy (Dorman) Payne, Jeannie Billard and Helena Billard; sisters-in-law Marie Billard and Vi Billard, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Elizabeth Billard, brothers Eugene, Cecil, Edmund and Roy Billard, sisters Laura and Jenny Billard, and brother-in-law Ted Ploughman. Family viewing and prayer was held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix, on Saturday. Public visitation with friends and family continued at Fillatre's Funeral Home on Sunday, April 17th. The family service was held on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Church, Port au Choix. The funeral service took place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Arockia Raj Siluvaiappa officiating. Cremation followed at Fillatre Crematorium, Pasadena. A celebration of Pauline's life will be held later in August 2016. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Holy Family Parish Port au Choix. The family guest book may be signed or an In Memorium donation made by visiting the website at www.fillatre.ca.
