1927 - 2016
For the past 89 years the world was a better place as a result of the life lived and travelled by Stephen Dunn Hutchison. Steve began his incredible journey on April 5, 1927 and ended his travels on April 21, 2016. Steve loved to fill his travels with great moments, one of the most memorable being his marriage to his wife of 68 years Arlene, with whom he raised 4 children onto whom he bestowed his love of life. Sandra (deceased), Sharon (Louie) Laurie (Keith), and Mark (Larry). Steve's career was recognized with numerous awards but he was most proud of his success as a warm and loving husband and father.
He traveled his wonderful journey with his brothers and sisters, his grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and friends around the world. He loved to play host, share stories and laughter and make each day a better place for those with the good fortune to share time with him. Fishing, camping, wine making and gardening were hobbies that he also loved to share with those around him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview, NB (506-869-2007). At his request, cremation has taken place and his ashes will find their way to his favorite vacation spot, Hawaii. No services will be held but he would be pleased to have you spend time with your family or friends and share your stories of his life - and your lives - with those you love.
