Lynn Marie Drinovz

Lynn Marie Drinovz

Lieu de naissance : New Waterford

Lieu de décès : Las Vegas
Date de décès : 29 avril 2016

Passed away suddenly, yet peacefully in Las Vegas, Nevada in the early morning of April 29, 2016 with her only daughter, Carly nearby.
Born in New Waterford, Lynn was the daughter of late Carl Drinovz and Shirley (LeBlanc) Nolan.
Lynn moved to Halifax at the age of 19 and began pursuing many different careers, but it was Northwoodcare that won over her heart in early Nov. 1980. It was there that she became a personal care worker and spent the rest of her working career. She also developed strong ties to the patients and mourned their losses as if she were a family member over the years. When Carly was 10 years old and in grade 4, Lynn decided to go back to school at NSCC, for a diploma in Business Information Technology. That year was the hardest year of their lives, but Lynn exhibited great strength, positivity and determination through that time. Following her schooling, she began pursuing different clerical jobs at Northwood, but when she started working for Charles Kwan, Lynn really found her calling and true happiness. She would brag about it all the time and that she had the best boss in the world and how lucky she was to work for him.
Throughout Carly's life, Lynn and she went through the ups and downs like any Mother/Daughter relationship. During Carly's four years of my living out of province, their relationship blossomed the most. Every conversation she would have with her Mom, some way or another Lynn would always let her know that she was her greatest accomplishment and that Carly was her entire world. It took Carly many years to realize what an incredible woman she was, and there is no doubt in her mind that no one else on this planet could have raised her better than Lynn. She was simply the best.
Lynn is survived by her one and only daughter, Carly (Ben) Drinovz; her mother, Shirley Nolan; brothers, Robert (Bernadette), David (Tarryn), Darren, Andrew and Walter (Rosemary) and sister, Carol Anne and also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Carl Drinovz.
Carly would like to thank the staff from Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas for going above and beyond for her mother and also for me during that time. She would like to also extend her thanks to each and every person who has reached out to her during this time, she needed this support in every way.
A service will be held on Friday, May 13th, at 2:30 p.m. in the Shirley Burnstein Hall at Northwood at 2615 Northwood Terrace, Halifax.
