It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Moss announce her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the age of 94 years. She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Angus (Betty) and Reg (Mary); three daughters: Hazel Hamlyn, Ann Moss and Judy (Derek Sparkes); step-daughters: Emma Knott and Edith Moss; step-daughter-in-law Genevieve Moss; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles; son Charles Jr.; son-in-law Bud Hamlyn; step-son Harvey; granddaughter Hilda Shepherd; sisters Eliza Jane, Lillian, Lillian Gladys, Fanny, Mildred, Florence, Mary and Eunice; brothers Angus, Alex and James. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John the Devine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Tuesday, May 17 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Section of the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove.
