Passed peacefully away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Kenny's Pond Retirement Home, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Julia Case, and her loving husband Gordon. Leaving to mourn her five sons: David (Joan), Jim (Vicki), Peter (Iva), John (Marie) Mark (Valerie), as well as three daughters: Barbara (Lloyd Dicks), Heather (Jamie Nuotio) and Julia (Paul Kenny), along with fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also leaving a large circle of extended family and friends. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Kenny's Pond Retirement Community for their compassion and care during the final chapters of her life. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from Carnell's Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Food Bank.
