It is with heavy hearts that the family of Darlene Dorothy Lockyer nee Sharpe announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Tuesday, May 24th, 2016, at the age of 63 years. Leaving to mourn with fond loving memories her husband Lewis, children Sarah Lockyer, Edward Wilson and Stacey Wilson, her grandchildren Kimberley Howard, Jordan Howard, Nicholas Howard, Alexander Wilson and Kira Fader, her fury companions Lucky and Sammy, her siblings Rosie Soucie, Robert Jr Sharpe, Harry Sharpe, Judy Morrow and Shelly Lavigne. Darlene was predeceased by her parents Hilda and Robert Sharpe, her siblings Ernest Sharpe, Isabel Sharpe, Evelyn Wilson and Elizabeth Sharpe, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended families. The family will be receiving family and friends at The Church of The Epiphany Church in Hampden, NL, on Friday, May 27th, 2016, from the hours 2-4 and 7-9, pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, May 28th, 2016, at 2 pm, with Rev. Paul Findlay and Rev. Randy Lockyer officiating, and keeping with Darlene's wishes, cremation will follow.
