It is with broken hearts that we have to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who passed away peacefully on May 26, 2016 at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Tracadie on May 5, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Hubert Michael and Theresa Jane (Myette) Myette.
Theresa married the love of her life Edgar Norman McPhee on Dec. 30, 1952.
She is survived by her husband Edgar of 63 years; children, Margaret Rose (Gaetan), John (Brenda), Linda (Joe), Verna (Paul) and Maureen (Myron); 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary Louise and Margaret.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Gerard Edgar; brother, Lawrence, Joseph, Alphonse, William, Anthony and Francis; sisters, Mary, Louise, Doris and Catherine and one great-grandchild. Visitation will take place Monday in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Parlour in River Bourgeois from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church in River Bourgeois with Rev. Antolin Asur officiating. Burial to follow in St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, River Bourgeois.
In lieu of flowers donation to St John the Baptist Church or to St. John the Baptist Cemetery fund.
A reception will follow the committal at the Tara Lynn Community Center.
