On Sunday June 5, 2016 Stanley passed away suddenly in Merritt, BC at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joan, daughter Dawn, sons Brent, Craig, Mark and Blair, seven granddaughters, four grandsons, eight great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
He was predeceased by his parents, his fourth son Lance and his granddaughter Shelby.
Stanley was instrumental in acquiring the property for the Roberts Creek Fire Department and was the first Fire Chief. He was also very involved with the Rod & Gun Clubs from Port Mellon to Merritt. He was also very involved with the Merritt Seniors Association.
No service by request. Stanley’s cremated remains will be scattered at a later date.
