Ernest Charles ‘Ernie’ Foster, age 79 of Halifax, passed away June 8, 2016 at the Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late James and Eva Foster.
Ernie worked for many years travelling throughout the Maritimes with the Bill Lynch Show.
He is survived by his sister, Catherine (Herbert) Hines, Truro; nieces, Kathleen Hines and Susan Foster; nephew, Jimmy Foster and good friends, Dorothy and Jim.
He was predeceased by brothers, Corp. Bernard N. Foster and Nicolas and niece, Lydia Foster.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
