It is with great sadness that the family of William Joseph Wells announce his passing at his residence in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn his dear sister Nora Griffin and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. William was predeceased by his parents James and Frances Wells, and his two sisters, Mary and Mercedes. In keeping with William's wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from Country Haven Funeral Chapel, with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Curling. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
