It is with great sadness that the family of the Cedella Gertrude Legge announce her passing on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Delilah Legge, Corner Brook and Juanita (Gary) Wheeler, Meadows; grandchildren: Jason Noseworthy (Sheena), Grand Falls-Winsor, Andre Noseworthy (Nancy), Corner Brook, Yolande (Maurizio) Modica, St. John's and Blair (Megan) Wheeler, Edmonton; great-grandchildren: Nadia Wheeler, Logan and Sofia Modica and Layla Noseworthy; step-great-grandchildren: Ty and Irelyn Accreman; sisters: Elsie Legge, Meadows and Marjorie (Doug) Coakwell, British Columbia; sisters-in-law: Bessie (Roland) Wells, Cox's Cove and Vera Penney, Harbour Breton; special nephew Tom (Jackie) Legge, Corner Brook; special niece Giselle (Brent) Guinchard, Meadows; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wesley Legge, 2000, son Wilfred Lawrence Legge, parents Bryant and Caroline Brake, brothers Devine, Eric and Bryant Brake. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Meadows on Thursday 10-12 noon from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Meadows. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
