Born March 4, 1954, Charlie, age 62, passed gracefully away in the loving arms of family on June 25, 2016 at the Fairhaven Unit of Agnes Pratt Home. Predeceased by his mother Vera (a.k.a. "Hunk") in 2001, his father Eldon in 1970 and his sister Janette in 1990. Leaving to mourn his brothers: Richard (Gladys) of C.B.S., NL and John (Ana) of North York ON; sisters: Donna Piercey (Robin) of North Vancouver, BC and Elizabeth Keating (Glen McLaughlin) of Dartmouth, NS. Also leaving to mourn nieces and nephews: Megan Durnford and Victoria Tucker, Cindy and Todd Holden, Mark, Robbie, Glen and Sam Piercey, Chris Keating and Erin Surette, Michael Tucker, Kiersten Carey and David Tucker. Special thanks to the King family for taking care of Charlie as one of their own. Heartfelt appreciation to all the wonderful staff at Agnes Pratt Home for their loving care and support. We are very grateful to Vera Industries where Charlie attended for over 50 years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Thursday, June 30th. Funeral service will take place in Barrett's Chapel on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11 am. Interment will follow at the General Protestant Cemetery.
