Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Complex on Friday, July 8th, 2016, age 90 years, of C.B.S. Predeceased by parents Augustus and Alethea Fowler, wife Doris of 52 years, second wife Ada Woodland, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Fowler, sister Millicent Taylor (Doug), brothers Eric (Kathleen), Albert (Rebecca), Fred (Bernice). Leaving to mourn his children Gertie Henderson (Norman), Joyce Shinkle (Matt) and Jim, grandchildren Michelle Hennessey (Randy), Mike Henderson (Nicole), Nadine Shinkle (Paul), Melissa English Barbour (Brad), Mandy Graham (Dwane), Matthew Fowler and Ashley Fowler, great-grandchildren Tyler and Adam Hennessey, Bradley and Elle English Barbour, Allie Shinkle and Maya and Mitchell Henderson, sister Marie Porter, step-children, Brenda and Wayne Bowering, Glen and Ethel Woodland, Rod and Michelle Woodland and their families. Also many other relatives and friends who were close to dad. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service in St. John the Evangelist Church on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11 am. Internment in the Anglican Cemetery, Topsail.
