Passed Friday, July 8, 2016 at Atlantic Baptist Home of Gerald MacDonald of Charlottetown, age 77 years. Beloved husband of Miriam (nee Horne), loving father of Steven (Denise), Tara Burrows (James), Tim (Charlene), Kyle (April), step-father of Allen Walton and Tracy Walton. Gerald will be remembered by his numerous grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He is also survived by his brothers - Garry, Owen, Edward, Garnet and sisters - Audrey, Nora, Beverly, Lela, Alice, Annie and June and families. He was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Lela (nee Jackson) MacDonald and brothers, Elwin and Earl. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4 - 7 P.M. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Milton Anglican Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
