With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sandy, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. For the past five years Sandy has fought an admirably brave and courageous battle with cancer. To the very end she remained positive and held her head high with her beautiful smile. Sandy passed at home, with loving family by her side for her last days. She will be dearly missed by her family and all her friends. Life will not be the same without her; but we are sustained by the wonderful memories that remain.
Sandy is predeceased by her daughter Susan. She is survived by her husband Fred Stark, her son Kevin (wife Suzanne), granddaughters Madison and Jessica, and her brother Ken.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to the wonderful nurses and staff at the Sechelt Hospital Ambulatory Care Unit, and the Lions Gate Hospital Chemo Clinic.
A service in Sandy’s memory will be held on Saturday, July 23 at 2pm at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church, 5838 Barnacle Street, Sechelt, BC.
By Sandy’s request, in lieu of flowers, a donation in Sandy’s name to the Sechelt Hospital Ambulatory Care Unit, the Lions Gate Hospital Chemo Clinic, the BC Cancer Foundation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
