Passed peacefully away at St. Catherine's, Ont, Patrick J. Ryan, formerly of St. John's, Newfoundland. Mr. Ryan attended St. Bonaventure's College, and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Europe during the Cold War period. Subsequently, he made a career with the paramedical and ambulance services of major hospitals in Montreal and Toronto over some four decades. Son of the late John and Amy Bailey Ryan, he was predeceased by his parents, brother Jack (Rosamund Butler), and sisters Louise (Fa Murphy) and Connie (Eloi Champagne). Survived by his sister Daphne (Bill Callahan) and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends in Newfoundland and Labrador and elsewhere. Thanks to the staffs of Niagara Gardens Seniors' Home, St. Catherine's General Hospital and George Darte Funeral Chapel for their care and kind understanding. Cremation has taken place. A family farewell will be held later.
