Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, Zela "Hope" Whitman of Harbour Grace, age 87 years. Predeceased by her parents, Lothrop and Belle Whitman; sisters, Dorothy Cron, Ruth Isabel Whitman, Dora Gertrude Adams, Jean Wigner and Mary Whitman; brothers, Theodore and Lothrop. Leaving to mourn a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. At Hope's request, cremation has taken place. A graveside service to be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Coughlan United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
