It is with great sadness that our beautiful Daddy, William Chesley Jenkins, passed away peacefully at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Bell Island on July 30, 2016. We, his children are very devastated that he is gone, but we take comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with our beautiful Mommy. Now they can walk in the light together in the loving arms of Our Lord for eternity. Predeceased by his wife Florence Ruth Jenkins (Hussey); mother Sara Jenkins (Barrett); father Edward Jenkins, his five brothers and three sisters. He was the last of his generation. Leaving to mourn seven children: Charlie (Marie), Joan (Vince), Susie (Albert), Kenny, Rodney (Nicole), Raymond (Tish) and Shannon (Paddy), 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 1-9 pm and Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 12-9 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 2 pm from The Church of St. Cyprian and St Mary. Interment to follow at St. Cyprian's Anglican Cemetery, Bell Island. Reception to follow at Bennett Hall.
