MacLEAN, Helen May, of Scotsburn, passed away August 4, 2016 in the Maritime Oddfellows Home, Pictou.
Born in Durham, she was a daughter of the late Stewart & Carol (Sutherland) MacLean.
Helen was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church, Scotsburn. She worked at Scotsburn Co-op for many years and was a canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society. She loved playing cards and always enjoyed her cats.
She is survived by her companion, Glenn MacDonald; sisters, Eileen Emery, Pictou and Dorothy (George) Lochead, Sylvester; nieces and nephews; close friends, Wanda Gouthro and Robin Barkhouse.
A private family service will be held in the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou. Burial will be in Durham Cemetery.
